Last evenings lunch... 1 Year, 7 Months ago
My wife was out of town for the day, so I invited my 20 year old grandson to have grilled aged ribeye steak with me for evening lunch...He accepted with the conditions that he tell me just what he found to be different in tastes from regular run steak...
He astounded me...He said this was the very best steak he had ever eaten.
He said is was outstanding in flavor, and very tender...Medium rare was his orders....Same as mine.
So take it from my grandson....its a whole new world to enjoy. Next time I will include photos of the steaks.
Cheers..

THAT is such great news to me that some one much much much younger than you and me can appreciate aged meat let alone something not from a fast food joint feeding youngsters 1,200 calorie burgers!

If we don't teach 'em there's an alternative far, far superior to fast food burgers, they might not learn. It's all in what you've been exposed to, isn't it? You done a good thing, Char-Woody. Now does this grandson know how you got that great steak--from the shopping for the meat to the patience with the dry aging to the great grilling prowess??
