Liquids in bag was created by Schneor
Hi all,
I have sealed rib eye 4 days ago. And i
see that some of meat's liquids are in the umai bag even i tried to dry them before sealing.
It is mainly at the corners of the vaccumed umai bag. Is this ok or should i open it let them get out and vac and seal it again?

Do you have any advice?

10x a lot !!!!

So long as you are aging in modern frost free refrigerator in regular use located within a consistently room temperature environment, the humidity management should take up the purge (liquids) within the first 7-10 days.

Just be patient. Do not ever dry the meat. There should be no reason to waste another bag.

Hope this helps.

How's the aging going? Sounds like you have a perfect set up. We really try to keep UMAi Dry® as easy as possible.

I think and hope it is going well :)
The liquids dissapeared from the bag and seems that a lot of action going in there.
I am stable around 2-3 C of temprature and around 75% of humidity.

Hopd for good news soon :)

Thanks again
