Green fluid/mould was created by Ren0W
First try from the Netherlands here.

2 pieces of meat, a nice striploin and ribeye both 2,5kg.
I went in big, thought what could go wrong. Men, I would smack my head if it did went wrong and quite some money down the drain.

The fridge should be OK.
I wore gloves during the process, moved/slid the meat from the packaging into the Umai bag.
Nothing wrong here I'd say.

But, then, the meat...

Are those 2 separate bags - right? The dark brown is from the moisture that was on the meat turning brown from reaction with the air flow. Other than appearance there is no issue.

No, these are the same. Thought to make another, bit closer, for a better view.
So the green-ish stuff/moisture is ok?

The brown parts don't trigger me. But green = normal reaction, something is terrible bad.

I guess I'm being dense...did you use 2 bags or did you put both pieces in the same bag?

Both pieces of meat in their own seperate bag.
These pictures taken of the same meat (just different angle).

So 1 bag per meat.

Btw: this is the 7th day.

The myoglobin (juices) in the meat and/or the surface turns brown, but does not mean the meat has spoiled. If your meat had been ruined in 7 days then you would have gaged from the stench while taking the pictures!

One last question though - is your refrigerator a modern frost free unit in proper working order?
