10 days in, losing seal on top was created by Steakguyeeeee
Fellow meat heads!

My 19 lb ribeye has been in the bag for 10 days now and looks like it is dry aging well however the top of the bag has detached from the meat. The sides still look ok and I assume the bottom is ok since it’s on the rack. Here are photos from today. Does it look okay or should we fix somehow?

Hi - Sorry, but I can't open your photo link so I'm just going on my past experience...Unless your bag has become ballon-like on top I wouldn't worry about it...assuming you are using a modern day frost free refrigerator.

Hi RRP! I fixed my link so let me know if you can see the photos now.

It is not ballooning, and the fridge is very modern.
